Ducking down the river Deben

Pupils in Ash and Oak classes took part in a geography field trip, led by Suffolk Wildlife Trust, exploring the River Deben. We began our journey near the source in Debenham, then travelled to Brandeston, Woodbridge and finished at the mouth in Bawdsey. The children measured the width, depth, flow and pollution of the river as well as considering the land use at various points and animals that live in and around the river.
